Default EFI Live dyno tuner in IL?

I have EFI Live, but I was wanting to know if there is any place that dyno tunes using efi live. I don't want to have it dyno'd and have them make adjustments but not be able to use efi live. I know efi live locks other tuning programs out. thanks in advance for any feedback

EFILive does not lock other programs out. You can have your vehicle tuned with LS1 Edit, HP Tuners, EFILive, etc. All will be able to be read back out by you as long as the tuner doesn't lock the file. Your information is incorrect.

my fault.. i got faulty info. as well.... so, if i get it dyno'd and they make some changes to it, then i will be able to see what they changed and still be able to change that file? like if i get different gears, etc.?

The only time it would be locked to efilive only is if a custom operating system is used. But anyone with efilive would be able to program it.

Yes as long as they dont lock it then you would be able to do with it as you will..

Some early versions of LS2 Edit would lock the PCM without the tuner even knowing that. All files loaded into the VCM can be read by any of the other programming software out there. Now if I tune your car using our HPTuners software, I can give you a cd with the program on it, but your EFI Live won't be able to open it. However, you could just read the program right off the VCM with your EFI Live and you'll be fine. I remember way back when HPTuner files were .bin files.

LS2edit isnt a problem with efilive if it was locked back then by default. You just press the try alt keys tab and it will read it out just fine. If the locked button was pressed then it would be locked.
