got a TC lock prob. help I have tried all I can think of with edit.. At the 3-4 shift the TC unlocks for a second, then shifts, then locks up again.. This is just cruising around. It didn't do it a while ago, now even with putting stock settings in it, still does it... Anyone, have an answer or what to check?

Why does pcm unlock TC during shift even though the option in Edit is set to TCC Lock during SHift = 1? (and of course all the unlock/lock values are set properly).

Re: got a TC lock prob. help yes, I even set mine back real close to stock... just to see... I have messed with it all.. I tonly started doing this recently, didn't do it a while ago..
Re: got a TC lock prob. help A misfire will cause your TC to unlock. Try eliminating misfire detection (only temprorarily if you would like) and see if the problem goes away.
Change Misfire detection temp to 155 and 154 respectively.

to just make the 3rd gear lock up later than the 4th. so it won't lock 3rd.. no biggie drives fine.
I actually have it shift to 3rd at say 30 then 4th at 35 then lock at 38.. the mph #'s are like 5-10 higher in edit than real life.. Takes some time and trial but works well, and doesn't **** me off now. Thats all that matters to me
