Arrow HP Tuners, codes, state inspection

I have had mild tuning with hp tuners, there is no ses light and my car will not pass inspection because of po140,po160 and po1133 codes showing in the background. Anyone know how to fully hide these from the texas state inspection software?

Go west, I don't know if you need to get inspected close to where you live. I lived in TX for 4 months and got inspected and passed with no cats, no AIR, and all the codes deleted. Would that work if you went an hour west and got it inspected there?

You can turn the codes off by selecting "3-No error reported" but by leaving the "SES Enable" on. It sounds like the SES enable was just unchecked which won't set a light but will still flag a code. This, of course, should only be done on an off-road only car

Just find a place to get an inspection where they dont check everything. There's always a few lazy ppl out there, that dont wanna bother with a full inspection.

OBD2 inspection, will check for codes.

YOu will want to check for codes, and readyness tests before you go, you can do that with hpt i believe.

hey if you go out to the west of houston...ie austin, washington county, you can get your car inspected for $12.50 and they done even get the thing close to a computer. the only thing they do is drive it around a little and check all of the normal things that are supposed to work... hope this helps

it has to be inspected in the county you live in, otherwise everyone would drive out to bfe and get it done.

yeah those shops dont care, its not like they can lose their license and get fined. if you get pulled over by a state trooper, they will check your sticker. someone is going to waste their time and gas driving to the country for an inspection sticker, only to be told they have to do it in their county. dont give bad advice to people on here.

I live in Ellis County South of Dallas where we have the same restrictions now as up North.

Lets get back on topic.

Well then if everyones going to **** and moan about giving bad advice on getting a car to pass inspection that can't pass inspection, then the obvious answer is to put whatever you did to it back to stock or fix whatevers wrong with it and pass legally.

Kinda stupid to complain about bad advice when you're trying to get a car to pass illegally don't you think? Put it back to stock or fix it.

I am not going to tell you how to get an inspection sticker if your car legally won't pass. As posted, that would be illegal.

However, in the event that you are obsessive-compulsive and don't like knowing that the system-readiness tests are incomplete and like to see "pass" next to every test for your off-road vehicle...

P0131-P0167 - Oxygen sensors
P0400-P0430 - EGR, AIR, and catalysts
P1133-P1156 - Oxygen sensors
P1404-P1416 - EGR and AIR systems
P1441-P1443 - Evaporative purge

Set to "not reported" should show you what you want to see, at least with regards to the tests. Leave the MIL indicator enabled for all of the above. Upon flashing the correct changes to the vehicle, the SRTs should immediately show "Complete." What you do with your newly "completed" vehicle is up to you...
