Who can professionally tune this that's near Ky? If I were to buy this and install it, who could I take it to for tuning? Also, does this hinder streetability?

I have not installed one of these systems in an LS-1 yet, but I have installed and tuned several of these systems in turbo & supercharged cars. I was so impressed by the features and the transiate fueling compared to the FAST system or should I say there was no comparsion that I switched both of my personal cars over from FAST to Accel (My supercharged Saleen S-351 & my supercharged C4 Vette). I replaced a FAST system with a Gen VII in a turbo charged kit car & within 1 hour of tuning we were within 10 rwhp of what the car made with the FAST system. The real kicker was when we installed the Gen VII we also removed the radical solid roller (262/274 duration) cam and replaced it with a small hydraulic roller (228/234)so the car would be more streetable. The customer went extremely conservative on the tune because the last tuner blew up several motors. Since the Gen VII was installed 6 months ago he has had no problems and the car has been more consistent on the race track that he is coming back to let us pull a little more power out of the car. He says the car runs better than it ever has.

Cannibal,

Just PM'd ya... but as an FYI, Joe Spetter Jr. is coming in to Richmond, Ky. in a few weeks to work on some of our DFI cars..(non-LS1), but he's about the best DFI tuner around, so if your's is up and running, Im sure he'd be able to tune it.
