There was a thread a couple of weeks ago, but I can't find it now.

Also never got the request for billing info last week.

No answer to a PM about it this week either...

 

I got an email confirming that the email and address was correct

 

The last time I heard from them was via PM on the 12th.

I thought it was weird that the thread is gone...

Told me Earlier this week he was sending billing info out this week.I havent heard anything yet...I think I will shoot him a pm as well....

 

I went back and checked my pm's he said they were going to be closed this week but was going to try to get the billing info out this week...

 

I sent him a pm as well. Looked at his thread history looks could not find it either. Looks like it was delted??????????

 

Also got an email asking for confirmation of info - and have heard nothing since

Noticed the posting disappeared last week - figured he was getting lots of responses.....

 

Heard from him today, payment sent so far so good. As mentioned must be bombed with requests.

 

Yep, got an email from him a little before noon with payment details - payment sent

indicated beta would be back from the printer early this coming week

I belive only 50 beta versions were going out and thats all. So i now have to pay them for mine

 

That is correct Dan told me thats why they pulled the post.Now I have to pay for mine also

 

What's this beta book about, I missed that post.

 

Yep, I got the request for payment, and got that taken care of.


There's a tuning book in the works, will also have several sample tunes included for reference, using different tuning packages. They were looking for some people to review the book before it goes into production. The reviewers have to pay $50 for the beta copy of the book, and 3 weeks to read it and get their comments back in. The final version will have more tunes in it, and the reviewers will get a discount on it, and what they paid for the beta version is applied toward the final version.

Even full price sounded pretty reasonable to me, if the book is as thorough as it sounds.

 

Wow, that would be a great source of knowledge ... will def. buy one when the final versions hits the market

 

You also have to pay for the beta version, but it's not as much. I guess I am one of the lucky 50.

 

Who is making/selling this book?
