You guys read the article about the only wideband that is accurate is the AFX with the NTK sensor?

While I agree with that article, what is the link to it?

(the company that made the electronics for the AFX knows what they are doing )

i didn't vote. just because i have the lc-1 doesn't make it the best. however i did read the article from some ford magazine that rated it the most accurate. i got it and it worked fine for months. then the gauge stopped working properly but if i hooked the lc-1 to my laptop it was still working. so it was determined my gauge was not working for months and innovate said to send it in so they could send me a new one. i've been lazy so i never sent it in. last saturday the gauge started working again miraculously. go figure.

I have an LC1, but If I can do it again I'll go AEM.
My LC1 has been unreliable for me, maybe because Vettes has grounding issues to begin with

I have been using a LM-1 for over 2 years now and have tuned quite a few LSx cars as well as Turbo Honda and N/A Honda's and it has been the most realiable wideband yet. I do have one bit of trouble with it though, the power port that you plug the power cord into the bottom keeps breaking the solder contacts on the board inside the LM-1. Luckly where I chip computers for Honda's I have quite a bit of soldering experience so I just fix it myslef. But as much as I take it in and out of cars with it getting bumped and nudged and snagged the power port just wont hold up. I think I'm going to solder it real good this time and then epoxy it to the board so it will be a little more rigid... unless someone from Innovate wants to step in and replace mine for me????

I have used the LC-1 and still have one along with the XD-1 serial gauge and I must say that it is the biggest piece of crap I think I've ever owned as far as widebands are concerned. Not only did the analog outputs burn out but it is near imposible to get a clean reading from the noisy LC-1 design.

And last but not least another crappy wideband I used was the AEM UEGO gauge style wideband. I tried 2 different ones and both gave the same bad results. They worked normally but the readings on 2 different units were off. I could tune my personal car with it and the next day come out and take a drive and the afr's would be completely off and not to mension the crazy slow display response. I compared the last one I had to my LM-1 with the sensors within 3 inches of one another and the AEM couldnt keep up and was in some places as far as 1.5 points off. So I sold it the next week!!! Oh and tuning my personal and customer's car's with the LM-1 gave me back to back good results. I get the AFR set and the next day it is still the same!!!

I use the FAST dual wideband daily. The things I like the best are the analog outputs, so I can plug it directly into the dyno and have the dyno record the my A/F ratio in its file.

Also If Im having a missfire I know it immediatly, because one bank goes dead lean, and I also know which bank to start looking right away.

I didnt know you could hook it to the dyno to record. Which wire is that? Does it record dual logs or you have to put it into average the sensors together?

The analog wires are beneath shrink wrap on the cords, these output to things like Tuner software or dynos.

You can do it either way. Individually which takes both analog outputs being plugged into the dyno or if you average it only outputs the average to one wire. I personally always record individually and if I want the average I set up a channel on the dyno that averages them for me automatically.

They actually make a stand alone sensor w/o the display screen specifically for dynos. Our shop now runs one of these in each header primary to see indiviual cylinder A/F ratios. Now it looks like this.

I went with an AutoMeter Cobalt wideband O2 -- matches the other gauges in the pod and most of the feedback I heard on the gauge was positive. I've had mine installed for a couple months now and it works like a charm. Tough for me to say it's the "best", because I haven't used the rest, however I can attest that it's adequately met my needs thus far.

I haven't used them all, so I have no idea which is best. However I voted for the LM-1 becuase I have it and use it often. It works well and is very portable.

Thumbs up AFX Powerdex

I had the LM1 and since purchased an AFX powerdex from bmotorsports.com with the upgraded sensor.
No calibrating needed. Plug n play's pefect with HP Tuners !

Default Cal...

Sorry I didn't clarify what I was talking about. The AFX does NOT need a program to function with hp tuners. It has a 0 > 5V output that hooks up directly to HP .
