After mt LT and LS6 intake was installed I took it to Livernois motorsports for a quick tune after that it ran awsome pretty much the best it ever ran. Now 2 days later me and my friend were racing a STi we lined up 3 lanes wide and I beat him miserabley from a 40 roll and my friends mustang lost to him by a car.

Anyways heres where it gets mesed up we get on the expressway after I rip it up the entrance ramp and my car stalls after I let off the gas, and after that it seemed liek it wasnt running good anymore I know this because I raced my friends mustang who i totally destroyed 5 minutes b4 and we were even from 40 to about 120 so obviously something isnt right

I remember Livernois said to bring it back and have it reflashed after a few days but what would have caused my tune to just suddenly fall off??????

did the computer just throw the codes out and the need to be flashed back on on what come on somebody helpme out??? lol

It shouldn't just lose the tune. Typically, if you take it to the dealer and they flash it, it will overwrite it but it shouldn't just lose it.

matt down at your shop said sometimes they reject the codes after a couple days and they need to be reflashed which isnt a problem im going to bring the car back on monday and just have it rescanned cuz i miss how crisp it ran after it was done

ya i think i need to replace my muffler bearings and get a taller wing for the back of it maybe that woudl fix it lol


but has anyone had to have their car reflashed after tuning??? maybe thats all that needs to be done

I would check for burnt plug wires and bad plugs, a loose connector... the simple stuff.

good call I think I am going to do a plug / wire swap and see how it is after
