Anyone w/NO SPOILER 4th Gen... pics???
Anyone out there going without their rear spoiler on a 4th Gen. Firebird?
Probably not very pleasing on a Trans Am, but I wouldn't think it would be "out of the question" for a Formula.
Does the Formula/base-car hatch have a normal decklid under the spoiler, or would you have to use a TA lid?
Pics of the entire car/profile shot??? Finished product or maybe in the middle of a repaint before reinstalling a TA spoiler???

Ive seen pictures of it from a guy who wanted to loose the weight. Our cars need at least a lip spoiler. The way the rear curves down looks weird without. And i think you may need a t/a hatch but not sure.

Hmmmm, very interesting.
Might be worth looking into that 3 piece GM ducktail spoiler.
So, is there a useable/paintable decklid underneath the Formula spoiler?
Thanks for the pics/links!

^ thats what i thought first time i saw. the funny thing is a lot of the guys on their forums take off their spoilers because they feel its more sleek. looks like the back of a taurus, not a sport car (though the probe/mx6 isnt one anyways).

THe T/A spoiler is not going to make any huge amounts of downforce... The design doesnt lend itself to create much downforce...

I saw a camaro with out the center piece at the junk yard i thought it looked kinda cool. idk i kinda like the no spoiler. But that's just because alot of the cars i have owned or liked never had a spoiler.
