Sorry, I didn't see this.

It's a huge improvement in my car. But my stock speakers were dry rotted/ blown.
It was so bad I'd usually just shut the stereo off, or turn it down low and listen to the engine as I went through the gears.....

My car is tucked away in the garage so it will have to wait till spring until I have a good chance to listen to it. And give it a proper assessment.

Technically yesterday but I took her to the strip for my very first time!

Ran a 13.5 @ 104 with a 2.07 60ft

Not a bad first time IMO. I was hoping for a little more but some more practice and I think sub 13.3 is within reach.

I'm assuming you're replying to me. If not, please forgive me.

Right now all I have is a TSP Rumbler catback and a debaffled WS6 hood. I'm hesitant to do the "free ram air" mod because I don't see the point of sucking in air from next to the radiator... The next actual mod will be a SLP Lid whenever I get around to it. It needs a couple of small maintenance items before that.

I have cheap *** 245 Sumitomos tires on there which isn't helping anything. They seem like the hook well enough, they're just really loud and suck *** in the rain if there is any significant amount of standing water.

It doesn't feel like I'm spinning but my cousin took a video of my 13.5 run. Unfortunately hes a dumbass and stood super far away while recording vertically with his cell phone....so I can't see if I actually spun or not.

Default HELP.... what Paint color is this ?

I have attached a few photos of a WS6 that I found about a year ago online , But I can't remember what the color is .

I think it looks great on this body style.

It looks like it is a mix Green/Grey ? Military Green maybe ?

I have an 01 White WS6 , that I am wanting to PlastiDip , but I Don't know the name of what color it is.
They Don't have this exact color available ( well, one that looks exactly like this color... I looked all the available colors They offer ).

Maybe do a 50/50 mix of Their Gunmetal and Anthracite and add in 1/2 a Pint of the Camo Green and mix it, and see how it looks, and then add more if need be, to get as close to the Color in the attached photos.

Then I'd add 3 - 4 coats of their Glossifier to give in that " Shine / Clear Coat " finish look

Thank you for the help,
I appreciate it

Yes Kevin Lee 487, the message was for you. It's funny because I also did my first quarter mile last week.
The sumitomos tires are not great, that's what I had when I bought my trans am and I switched to the nittos, much better

Thanks the crowing ,

I may just go with a White Satin PlastiDip and apply 3 - 4 coast of their High Gloss

My car has the Clear Coat peeling in about 5 different locations ..... And there's a guy in my area who does this now Professionally ( PlastiDips vehicles, and he's going to do it for me ).

I also have the Silver BlackBird stripes for the Hood .... I think this will look really good on white .

Also have the Stripes for the Spoiler ..... just not sure if I like them on their or not .... Thoughts ?

I find it amusing that the Original Poster (Torchie94) who started this thread hasn't logged in for over 4 years now and the thread is still going strong. LOL.

Well, technically I didn't do this to my bird...but it got a good rub from a family member as they backed out of my driveway...anyone know the cost of getting a bumper and rear quarter re-painted?

any chance that it can be claimed on home owners or auto insurance? it could have been "vandalized" while parked at the grocery store. still responsible for deductible. Id say $500

Currently feeling out how the responsible part feels about covering it with her insurance...she's not too happy about it at the moment, and doesn't want her insurance to go up (fixed income). I wouldn't care so much, but the paint was pretty pristine before this, and i'm sure the value takes a pretty decent hit on a car people buy because it looks good. $500 isn't all that bad though, paint is the one thing i never touch and couldn't do myself on it, so i have no idea of cost.

Tell her not to back into people's cars then. I know she's family and all that, but that kind of stuff just pisses me off. When I damage something due to my negligence, I'll either fix it myself or pay to get it fixed. Does it suck? Yes. Is it putting me out of my time and / or money? Yes. But like my parents used to ask me: "Did you do it?" If yes, make it right.

Yeah, that's definitely how i think too...but she's in her 80's and it's hard for her to make sense of it being her fault...and being Italian, it's pretty hard to change her mind on things
