They were your standard inexpensive single strand under dash lights. easy to install. just need to run power. I did it from the switches I installed in the center console

I picked up a set of ccw sp500 18's. Hoping to get them on this week.

Got to install longer studs since I need to use spacers to squeeze the 11inch wide rears first.

That gold is really growing on me. My parents bought a suburban new in 99 and it was that color. There is a Z car for sale on Facebook he doesn't want a lot for it. Its super clean and everyone laughs at it. Your car looks amazing! Congrats on the new wheels.

Finally got around to installing Strano springs and Koni yellows on all 4 corners, plus new CTSV Brembo's up front. Went easier than I expected...

Stock vs.

CTSV

Yes, haven't installed pads yet

Shocks, springs, sway bars, panhard bar, subframe connectors, lower control arms, plugs, wires, rotors and pads, an oil change and coolant flush. Oh and a new head unit...probably wont finish it all today though.

Took the car to a car show and won first place in my class. Pretty cool trophy and wasn't expecting it.

Can't leave well enough alone. I'll be making non-adjustable trailing arms, and camber rods to replace the threaded swedge tubes installed right now. No grease zerks on these, and I'm not going to bother with them as they are pretty much useless on Johnny Joints, the tolerances are too tight.

The camber rods are angled correctly here, and that will allow freer movement in those bushings.

Seems like a lot of work to make welding fixtures for a few parts. Are you planning to go into production? Are you going to offer solid, rubber, and/or polyurethane bushings?

The jigs are pretty crude, just some tabs and .120 wall steel I had on hand. I'm going to add some tabs to hold the rods in place, centered on the bushing ends.

Tried to get a set of tires swapped from my c5DD's onto my ccw's...... I knew the tires were old, but j was hoping to make it to next year on them. Shop stopped after trying the first one and said they couldn't do it they were too hard.

Now I'm stuck on jack stands still i buy another set if tires. Still need to find a shop to take these tires off so can sell the wheels....

Finally installed a rear defogger button after 15+ years. Back around '07-'09 I swapped out the original flat one-piece hatch for a junkyard hatch with the raised spoiler. The original hatch didn't have a defogger grid and the new one did. It took until now for me to decide I wanted the grid to be functional and found this HVAC control pod in a local junkyard. I kept my original dials though!
