what did you do to your firebird today?

Considering that it for the most part working until I switched out the Alternator, I doubt its the PCM but it really wouldn't surprise me. Either way, I took it to the shop yesterday morning and they just got started on it today.
Edit : Picked her up from the shop. The exciter wire pigtail was the culprit. We have voltage again Cap'n! And to make it up to her for being down for a week, I took her for a nice hot bath too. Were back in business.

I just picked up a 98 TA with 43,000 miles and I have to swap out the fuel pump, ordered a new racetronix 255, also a hotwire kit. BBK Longtubes just came in today. Ordering motor mounts.

It was one of those large heavy duty ones like what cities give out. Looked kinda like this one.
It was very stout, didn't even have a scratch on it. The owner came out and at first was trying to say there was no way his can was in the road because he had just pulled into his driveway and it was standing upright at the edge of the road.

Replaced the headlight motor.
WAY bigger PITA than it was on my 88 Trans Am. Whoever decided to stick that bolt WAY in the back of the damn motor where you can't fit a 1/4in socket needs to get kicked in the ***** repeatedly.
And I lost one of the ends for my nut driver. When I replaced my Alternator last weekend, she kept the fastner for the rear braket, but gave it back a few days later. Hopefully I'll find that end laying on the ground outside one day.

Exactly, from the once over I gave it last night when I got home it just seemed to be the headlight assembly only. Slight scratching on the hood from where the assembly door went flying but the bumper looked ok. I managed to find a whole assembly on e-bay that is the same color of the car for a decent price and I am just hoping the paint on it isn't too raggedy when it arrives.

Nice. I will probably be installing my CF one in the spring or summer.
I would guess it was having an issue with the bubbling paint that plagues the 98-02 cars, however I didn't really see any evidence of that in the pics.

lol, it was either that old sheet or I risk scratching the paint! My daughters weren't too happy though, haha!
