I finally got around to installing some Bilsteins and springs on my T/A, she sits pretty much where I want her to now. I might do the heater hose mod to bring down the rear a touch, but otherwise, I'm a happy dude.

Put my factory CD deck back in. Upgraded to a Sony deck with Kee Audio Level 2 speakers, sounded decent but had trouble dialing it in. Went back to stock deck and the CDT subs seemed to hit harder. Sucked losing USB stick ability though. But for a weekend cruiser I don't mind switching CDs back and forth.

After many failed attempts to get my wheel locks off, I finally got a reprieve. I tried the hammer & oversized socket method, I bought several "universal" wheel lock removers, including the ones that were linked earlier from Sears... none of them worked. Even took it to two different tire shops who both said they couldn't get them off.

So, faced with the only remaining option of drilling them off the car... I decided to take a last ditch effort and go through every nook and cranny of the car trying to find a card for the wheel locks with the registration number.

And I ended up getting lucky... found it stuck in the owner's manual. So I ordered a new key for the wheel locks... and when it arrives, I guess I'll finally get to install my springs and shocks!

Good deal man. Beyond just it being inconvinient, if you ever got a flat without having the key you would be majorly up a creek.

I have a Keenwood LCD 7" touch screen with ipod adapter that sits in my glove box. The screen comes out and flips up. Its nice my original stereo deck is jacked up. Everytime i turned up the music it changed the station. Everytime i changed the station it turned up the volume instead lol

Waiting on my Metco breather and new bumpstops to arrive today so I can get the bird back on the road. Than it will be time to look at rebuilding the PCV system.

Got around to slapping the metco breather on. Also replaced the rotten stock bump stops with the universal jeep poly bump stops.

Loaded it up with all of my crap and moved back home.

Was living with the Girlfriend, we broke up.

It did pretty damn good on the MPGs too. Had to do two trips and each way is 25 minutes or so mixed highway / city. Only used 1/8th a tank if that. 3.23 geared Auto with Max A/C on the entire time.

As I have my engine out of the car, I started cleaning up the engine bay. Eliminated the plugs for the rear O2 sensors, consolidated the grounds that attach to the rear of the heads and I stripped, primed and painted the forward section of the right inner fender. I had a few ounces of my blue from the body shop in a can and it worked out well sprayed from an aerosol sprayer. Much more to do tho...
