Sequential tail lights on a budget. The theory behind this is that LEDs ignite faster than incandescents so it should give a sequential effect. It turned out not too bad.

I'm using Sylvania ZEVO 3157 Red LEDs in the innermost sockets, with standard white bulbs in the outer 3157 and 194 sockets. I tied the 194 sockets into the signal circuit. I'm also using EL12 flashers.

Interesting, definitely makes it more noticeable. I bet it'd look good with the '93-97 Formula/Trans Am tail lights as well since the grid goes to a point toward the outside of the light. Which I'm weird and want the o.e. Euro tail lights, but those are the proverbial needle in the haystack.

I like that you tied the 194 side marker bulbs to the turn signal circuit. I've been thinking about doing the same thing. Consider replacing the stock 194 bulb with a much brighter LED. Then the brake/signal lights might be more uniform across the whole taillight.

My recently purchased 30th Anniversary T/A has been sitting for 5 years, for the most part. Had some issues with low RPM throttle response and a low speed stumble. Another tank full of fresh gas, installed a K&N and cleaned the MAF. It seems to run much better. I also installed the seat belt guide on the driver's seat. It had been broken. Moving forward.

Got the Firehawk setup in the new garage. And, the new California Noah Cover fits nicely. Pretty soon it will be parked for the Winter months.

Funny thing how the garage came to being. My wife wanted to get a 12' x 14' garden shed for the mower and all her garden tools and supplies. THEN, a guy called me who had bought my '99 Firehawk and said that he wanted to sell it. Soooo, since I was the original owner, I had to buy it back. The new shed that was supposed to be 12'x14' got changed to a 14'x22' garage/shed. My wife is simply the BEST

Ahh. The fun of a car that hasn't been run very much for 5 years. The fuel pump died. I decided to do the rear access panel trick. I was surprised to find it had been done before. I now have a new fuel pump assy. and fuel filter. Running again. On another thread I asked about the blue Trans Am lettering on the door. The right side had some of the blue missing on the letters. I found out that the original owner had put decals on the letters. Mine are all white again.

Finally took the time to remove the cowl piece to repair the washer fluid line and now it works great but need to use up what's in the reservoir and put in de-icer, just in time for Winter.

Sold it. It was time to move on. I'm looking into C5 Z06's, so I should be back in something fun soon!

I want a base C5, to me the liftback just looks better than the fixed roof coupe and that's what really matters. Though these days all the Z06 stuff is probably superceded by aftermarket or later generation o.e. parts anyway. Anyhow best of luck in finding one!

Been awhile since I last posted in here but since 2011 have installed:

Diamond stage 2 clutch
MWC 9" wavetrac w/DS and long torque arm 3:90s
1 7/8 headers
FAST intake
Replaced FAST TB with NW anodized
Windows tinted
Removed ~8 small door dings
Replaced POS rx catch can with mighty mouse can.
FINALLY got an alignment after lowering in 2008...lol

Very nice! What size are the wheels, and what tires are you going to run?
This is the first I've heard of PVD Chrome. What different about PVD?

Nice choice on rims, imo.

PVD means physical vapour deposition, or in other words the metal is vapourized into plasma then vacuum formed to whatever is being coated. For the longest time it's how plastic has been chromed.
