I dunno what brand of wheel locks these are... but they definitely make stealing the wheels a lot harder! LOL

Tried that. That was the first thing I tried, even. Ended up chipping some paint off my wheel and not budging the wheel lock. Then I went and bought special tools that are supposed to remove them... they either wouldn't fit through the opening in the wheel, or they didn't work. Drilling them out is really my only option at this point.

I'm hoping so... Ive seen some pics of people doing it before and it seems like there were different shades of dark depending on the car... I'm just hoping it doesn't come out too dark since my car was initially black

$26?!? Using premium 93 octane?
I used the socket/hammer method successfully. I used a big rubber mallet to drive them on then an impact gun to take them off. Hard part was trying to remove the lug nuts which were embedded in the socket

How much you spent to fill up means nothing if you don't note how many gallons, hell your gauge could be way off and show empty when you still have like half a tank.
I typically refill when it takes about 10 gallons plus or minus 1 gallon so I usually put in about 40 bucks, I don't like running tanks low, it's less of an issue due to the design of our fuel pumps (that keep the pump submerged in fuel at all times) but not all cars are like that and running tanks low will cause premature failure of the fuel pump, because the gas itself acts as a lubricant and cooler to the fuel pump.

Haha to keep you guys happy, I live in "Bordertown, USA" so the gas is cheap down here. Weve hit low of $2.70 this past winter. Mind you its not the "past Full" which prolly really represents full. Yes 87 octane with a 3.4L V6
And for anyone really that curious, I will take a photo at my next fill up

In the process of painting my valve covers and now I have added the project of deleting the PCV system. Unplanned delete though, it seems after all these years the plastic lines are brittle and its basically falling apart. I even went as far as installing a new PCV valve which led to broken lines. I really dont want to mess with redoing the system right now so its going to be PCV free for awhile.
