Ram-air hood AND K&N FIPK heat shield
Im curious as to why no one has made one yet? Im actually in the process of making one (work 10-7 everyday so that doesnt help) I should be done with it by this week.
Im making mine to seal against the tru-fiber ws-9 hood. So IDK if this will apply to stock/aftermarket ws-6 style hoods. Will post up pics soon...

im not a fan of the FIPK, as it is,it sucks to much hot air compared to the traditional lid setup. what your doing make help, but i suggest you use aluminum over stainless, that ***** heavy and harder to bend

I am gonna use aluminum. And i also plan on using that sound deadner/heat shield stuff under flat/black radiator support so that way it doesnt get hot under the filter.
Here is a VERY rough template i cut out for an idea.
