Default WS6 wheel and exhaust question

I went to look at a 98 WS^ convertible, and it had ZR1 wheels w/ WS6 centercaps on it. The guy said it came like that, he bought it w 24k on it from old man orig owner. Could you get these wheels from factory? I thought stock were different. Also, did these come w/ SLP exhaust? It looks like the same muffler and 3 in pipe my 99SS has on it.

98 exhaust would be a single outlet.

I didn't think they came w/ ZR1 type. The muffler looks like my SLP dual/dual muffler, even sounds like it did before I put on the off road y. I guess the orig owner could have changed it. The car is a red 6 spd convertible w 77k, needs a fender, door skin, lower ground effect, and a paint job to make it nice, due to minor scratches and door dents. I can get it for 6500 or maybe less. Does this sound reasonable?

If it needs that much work I would say the price is a tad high. If you could get it for 5500-6000 maybe. I got my 98 formula for 6k and it was immaculate, looking like it was on the showroom floor.

I'm not in agreement about the price. You will have over $10,000 into a '98 with close to 80,000 miles on it. That's with a so-so paint job too. Your choice.

I figure if I can get it for 6000, I can put about 1500-2000 in it. The car really doesnt look too bad, just has small dents on both quarters, small crack in rear spoiler. Interior is good, top is great. It is pretty hard to find a WS6 6 speed convertible around here. I can do all the work but the paint, and I have a buddy who paints at a dealership that can paint it reasonably. I know a repaint isnt as good as factory though.

Ah....NO. All '98 WS6, whether its a Formula WS6 or a T/A WS6, came from the factory w/ a SOTL (single-out on the left) 3.5" round chrome exhaust tip. '98 SSs, unless it had an optional SLP Y2Y exhaust option, also had the same SOTL. '99+ WS6 was changed to meet new noise regulations and went w/ daul 2.5" round tips.

Non-WS6 V8 Firebirds had dual oval tips, '98-'02.
