99 Trans Am build thread
I've been stock-piling parts and the car will be going under the knife soon. This will be a slow thread since the car is being built while I'm gone on deployment next year but here's the run down.
99 T/A, A4
complete LS6 swap
ported TB
Tubular K-member and front uppers/lowers
3.73 rear with LPW cover/brace
Edelbrock Track Pack suspension (front coil-overs, sways, tubular LCAs, torque arm)
Spohn STB
Fresh 4l60e
New torque converter (undecided, depends on the cam)
Zex nitrous kit
QTP headers
3" into 4" TSP ORY
TSP Rumbler cat-back
04-07 CTS-V front brake swap
RPM 505 19's with Nitto NT05r rear and undecided on fronts
I have Tick Performance working on a cam for the LS6 and am shooting for 400+ at the wheels on motor. Currently, the LS1 has a Patriot 225/229 .580/.590 114, but I'm going to have to go bigger to meet my goal.
Should be a fun ride when I get back next year! Feel free to chime in with any suggestions and I will update as I can and as work gets done.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't. I bought an entire 00 Z28 for cheap from a guy who had just dumped a bunch of money ($5k++) into it because he wanted a GTO instead and that was the suspension he put on it. IIRC, I think he said he ordered it directly from Edelbrock but I haven't been able to come up with a link to the kit, just the picture that I posted.

I already have SFC's welded in on my car so I'n not using the ones from the kit and I'm planning on a FAB9 rear from midewest chassis so I will be using their torque arm and LCA brackets rather than the Edelbrock ones. Other than that, I will be using the rest of the kit.
I'm just waiting on my re-enlistment to go through and I will be ordering heads, tubular k-member and a-arms, trans, converter, rear axle, and wheels (CCW SP20's- I changed my mind lol)... gotta love being in a job in the military with a $90k SRB

Thanks guys. It's gonna be a long road before the car gets back together, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait!
I honestly haven't given it any thought. I'll probably just wait until the car is finished and see what parts are still lying around that I didn't use and sell everything at once.
