Default New LT1 Firebird Hood Idea From VFN

This is just an idea please let us know what you think

From This

To This

And This

To This

this would combine the vette with the firebird and the sunoco, fix the flatness that the lt1 suffers from, we would round out the top of the hood to give the illusion of rounded fenders. We would also raise the scoop a little more than the picture shows something like 3 to 3-1/2 inches. NO BARFING PLEASE!!!

I actually really like this. Definitely a different approach to it.

I like it actually...
The cowl needs to be a bit higher though IMO, just a bit.

Not bad. Wonder if it would be high enough in the front to clear an LS1 lid.

I like having scoops on my Pontiacs, but this does look good for a non scooped design

Yes! That would be my only request - high enough to clear a lid/base without having to butcher the radiator support

I like the roundness with the fenders but wonder how it would look if the cowl didn't have the line down the middle
