Stick Ride... is your formula repainted ? I like the wheels you have on your formula.. Color is very impressive I remembered that back in a small 94-97 Run purple was a optional rare color combo.. to buy on the stock Trans Am or Formula.. from what I recall tell me abit your car DrEvyl.. ?? is it really Evyl..??
I believe the first year they made BPM F_bodies was '96, and they discontinued the color part way through the '98 model year so there weren't a lot of LS1 cars painted this color. At one point I had this one and one of the 12 BPM Trans Am WS6s, but I sold it in 2008(?). They made 26 LS1 Formulas in this color. Weird that I like the Formula more than the WS6, but I think that is partially because of how much work I put into it.
The thing most people don't know is that I sold this Formula in January of 2010, and thought I'd never see it again. Two weeks ago I happened to stumble across it on Autotrader by pure random chance.. and I went down and bought it back. When I sold it, I put the stock wheels back on it, and the guy I sold it to put the RPM wheels on it. I wasn't sure whether I liked them when I bought them, but I'm sold on them now.

I've flushed better looking things down the toilet than that rendering. Anyways.. That MBM reminds me of the Jetstream blue the painted on the C6 ZR1. Mind you, I will be doing that paint scheme on my T/A hopefully this year.

Also, does anyone here know what kind of hood this is in the second pic? I have been told it is a 'venom' hood but I can't seem to find any further info on it.

Thanks for the welcome Paul. When I originally saw that hood I thought that's the FIRST thing I'm going to change but it has grown on me a little. LOL. The rims are obviously Z06 knockoffs.
Mods are Patriot Stage 2s, 'matching cam' Fast intake, 92 mm Billet TB, Larger than stock injectors, some Spohn suspension upgrades and a Moser 12 bolt.

@Sunset, thank you kindly. It definitely does look different and the hood has grown on me over the week that I have owned the car. BTW, that's a real nice looking ride you have there. I really like the color.
@War, thanks, I'll definitely check into Mecham hoods to see if I can identify it.

Sunset, it looks like you are doing a very good job of keeping her up to par in the looks dept.
Nothing sexier than a female driving a hot muscle car.
Back in 91 I bought a Formula brand new and kept it for the next 15 years and 180k miles as a daily driver for work. The 5.7 had a 'whopping' 240 HP stock which seemed pretty badass at the time. That thing saw three digits on the speedometer 5 days a week since my trip to work was mostly wide open highways. I collected speeding tickets like it was a hobby. LOL I had to sell it in order to buy a tow vehicle for my 69 Judge street/drag car (full interior) that at a shade under 2 tons with me in it was going 9.70's.
As far as my plans for this car...job 1 is straightening out all the issues I've run into in the first week...
