Thanks for the compliments guys. That garage is a tight one, I just took the trans out again to get some adjustments done and was reminded how I cant open the doors all the way lol. I need tires, would like to get rims also but next year. Looking to get some Toyo Proxes TQ's for the rear and Toyo Proxes R1R for the front 275/40R17 all around on the stock WS6 wheels. Cant wait to put the power to the ground a little better. Also working on the dash pad and hoping to have that complete soon here, time consuming stuff

Got the dash finished. Vinyl wrapped it. For all the headache, time and money it cost me to do this I would probably not do it again lol, although it would get done faster and better. Someone needs to sell dash pads for cheap. For the most part it looks good and is better than the stuff underneath
used the plastic epoxy stuff from 3M, works great.
Picked up some 17" Billet Specialties Street lights and Toyo proxy TQ's for rear tires.
Tried driving 150 miles to the race track in Brainerd to run my car for the first time and on the way was racing a Challenger and smoked a output shaft bearing in the T-56. Also from the day I bought it, it never shifted from 3rd to 2nd right reverse would pop out unless you held it there. Long story short I drove the car back all F'd up about an hour drive. Got the transmission apart and found out the preload on the bearings weren't set right, the bearings would make noise in pretty much all the gears but I bought this transmission "Built" from the builder himself so didn't think much of it at the time. Almost sounded like straight cut gears, just a tad.

Forgot to mention when I bought the Street lights I didn't like the center caps so I bought some flat center caps and polished them up and put a firebird sticker in the middle and it looks much better IMO.
Also, I said the hell with it...IM DONE WITH T-56 and went with the Tick level 4 T-56 Magnum transmission. Basically a TR6060 built to racing specs and converted to fit F-body. Holy cow does this thing shift smooth and the gate feels better. Shorter throw and I can tell it has 60 engagement teeth versus the 46 the T-56 has. Bigger input shaft and 31 spline output shaft she is rated at 900RWTQ. I got the sprayers installed for when I make more power I can install the pump to keep 3rd and 4th gear from smokin. Also got a Quick Time performance steel bellhousing with engine plate, for insurance.
Drove it the recommended mileage for breakin period and then drove it 150 miles back to the track. Stayed there all weekend and made 22 passes, 7 roll races and drove it back 150 miles with no issues. This was my very first pass ever down the track with this car and in general. CAR #474
Here is my best time
I was very consistent with 11.6 at 124 MPH and could not get out of the 1.9 60 foot. I know if I had some 15" rims with drag tires and different suspension I could break into the 1.6 and maybe get a high 10. Time for changes.

Thanks! I definently want a drag setup suspension and rear tire wise. I had to much fun going straight. The transmission is definetly worth it, no core charge either. Im selling my Koni/Strano setup if anyone wants it in a month. Nothing wrong with it...hadles great around corners and bumps, just want better 60'. I am also thinking about going supercharged...F1A kit sounds pretty nice to me. Dont really want to be another turbo car.

Thank you! I ran down the track one more time this year. Removed the front sway bar completely and spare tire/jack. Still had a 1.8 60'. My last run down the track I cut a 1.7 60 finally but missed 4th gear, I think that would have been my 11.0/10.9 but I'm still learning alot and think next season will be better. It was a good end of the year, made 33 passes and didn't break anything.

That was a fun day at the performance shop here in town. As far as how much I spent, that would be cool to have kept all the receipts but Its not good to know how much you have spent. Its all in fun and performance/quality is not cheap. Just a number would be around 20k in just the drivetrain
