I wouldnt buy it what so ever,2 more grand can get ya something cammed n clean, maybe not a ws6 but a ss or z28,i wouldnt buy it man, maybe if some older lady owned it her whole life and it was a one owner with high miles, more than half those cars are bought at auctions, and thats more than i would pay for that,i had my car for sale for not much more than that and its way nicer than that lol

It is not a ws6, and that price is too high if you ask me. Front does look odd with pass side highlight gap. But at 170k miles it could just be that it bumped someone.

But if it is close, go look at it an drive it. Nothing beats putting you hands on it and seeing on person. Try to get it down to like 4,300 and maybe it's worth it??

That is !! One heck !! Of a nice !! Detail job !!
What a dumb ad, typical of CL quality. That car has 'money pit' written all over it. Who would want to sink serious money into a 170,000 miles car that is probably very close to F-body heaven?
Imagine laying out $5,000 for that car and needing to invest a few grand into it over the first year of ownership. What a horrible financial beating you would take if you needed to sell it in a hurry for some reason. You could have $7,000 - $8,000 into it and maybe someone would offer $3,000 with the mileage even closer to 200k. That would hurt!! (now is the time for those exclamation points)
Sure there is depreciation on all cars but why do that to yourself for a car that is probably going to be a lot of aggravation. Things break with that mileage. There is just no avoiding it. Sure, it might be worth a gamble at $3,000, but even then, if the motor or tranny dies, you are stuck with basically a parts car. Would you really want to fix it??

FWIW I don't think it's been in an accident, but pictures can hide a lot. I think you'd be amazed at how different the front end would look if that headlight cover was adjusted
correctly. The other gaps look fine to me. I'd go look at it in person and go from there. It looks pretty clean overall

It doesn't look THAT bad.

Looking at it, I bet it just had some minor damage to the fascia that was fixed and they didn't get the headlight covers lined up right... that's a real PITA. I would agree that $4000-4500 is probably a fair price.

at 170000 miles, theres something waiting to go out. that price is way too high. it is clean but its still got all that wear on the drive train and the suspension. id ask 4000 max
