Finally got the LED lights put in the Phoenix. Man is it a huge difference. Big thanks to Late Model Lighting for the switch back drl and the low and high beams lights.
Got some more pretty cool pics of the Phoenix at the state park called Cedars of Lebanon. Really happy how they turned out. Had a buddy go with me in his McLaren 650S. Love his car.
It has been a little bit since I have done any mods to the Phoenix. So I have some big ones coming up. First is a new set of Baer 13" Front Pro+ brake system, and Baer 13" Rear SS4+ brake system. Then the biggest mod. It is time to upgrade the engine. The factory LS1 that came in it is still running strong, with zero problems. But I am ready to build the new one. I have some of the parts ordered already but not all. I hope by the end of the year to have it done and in the car. Really excited about this and can't wait.
Finally got the Baer big brake kit ordered and in. I don't know if I will install them now or wait when I put the new engine in the car. I went with 13" Front Pro+ brakes for the front, and 13" SS4+ brakes for the rear.
Finally got the Baer bi brake kit ordered and in. I don't know if I will install them now or wait when I put the new engine in the car. I went with 13" Front Pro+ brakes for the front, and 13" SS4+ brakes for the rear.
Another update on my new engine build. I got the heads from CID, and Martin Smallwood did a custom cam for my WS6, and the crank are all in. Now I have to go get the new block from Brian Tooley. I was hoping when I started this that I could have it done before the 2022 ended, but it didn't work out that way. I will be making it E85/93 gas also. So there are a lot of stuff going on with this. Stay tuned!
So it has been a while since I posted on here. I am still on LS1Tech but I am still getting things ready to build my new engine. So here is a picture from yesterday I took at the Charlie Daniels park here in Mt Juliet, Tn yesterday.
Things are moving forward for the new engine build only have a couple of things to get and the build will begin. On another note I have finally decided on what my next car will be. I have ordered a 2023 2SS 1LE. Shadow Grey Metallic, A10, PDR, Red seat belts, Red knee pads. I am really excited for this.
More parts have come in. Getting real close to building the new engine for the TA. Got my new toy that I can start doing mods to here soon. My 2023 2SS Camaro 1LE came in 6/1/2023.
