2000 Trans Am Project "Revenant"
Hey everyone;
Excited for a little "Show and Tell".
First, as a brief introduction I have been a F-Body Fan since I could say Trans Am; which are my favorites.
I have primary own 3rd Gens my whole life and hold a special place in my heart for them. I have had super sharp and clean TA's...I have had terrible project TA's and everything in the middle; loving them all.
I have always enjoyed making them unique and never really thought I would want something different...but a year ago, I found myself actually wanting something different and something new....while still really wanted another Trans Am. I decided to let go of my 87 GTA, my 83 TA and my 3rd Collection of sorts to go TA hunting. 2/2016
After about a month of touring the south east, I finally found one:
Taking home a really well taken care of and clean 2000 Trans Am Black; All stock except the Borla Muffler.
I was pretty proud of myself for not coming home with some new major project
I cruised it here and there over the last year; fixed a few things, cleaned up a few thinks and really started to like the car, but I really didn't do much with it either....until now at least.
I think for me I enjoy the custom look, creating new things and think I was kind of board with the car as it just really wasn't my style...
So two weeks ago I set aside a "Trans Am Weekend".
To have some fun with the car, do something custom/ something different and make it a little more "me".
So I started with some paint...I now call it the bird The "Revenant".
Excited for a little "Show and Tell".

This is the concept drawing i did to kind of play with the idea before the car.
This is the concept panel I created to...I guess design the effect. Basically I wanted to airbrush the effect and style of what I was visioning just in a way to grasp the art to prepare for the actual paint job.
I wont ramble with the "making of" pictures, so with out delay...this was the final out come 25hours later...lol

Overall I was really happy with the out come and simply walked away with more ideals then I have weekends or TA's for that matter.
But Im looking forward to polishing her up for the summer and getting the 2KTA out more this year then the last.
In the mean time;
Color match the calibers
Look at changing out Rims
Refurbish the Tail Lights are probably my next to do.
thanks for viewing !

Very nice work! Not my personal style, but then again I'm not an artist and tend to go in for the plain and unadorned. That being said, for the look you're cultivating, the rims have to go. Nice on a stock car, but yours needs black rims, bigger diameter, and the car lowered.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
Trust me; I understand "artistically or style of" will not be everyone's taste,
especially on a 4th Gen.
So I appreciate the comments.
Although I strongly agree with the Rims! Just haven't really figured out..."with what yet".
Was thinking maybe a set of black BMW rims with a pinstripe to match the color...but still not sure.
