Fresh fluids and some garage updates

Built this beauty of a counter with my buddy and some spare mahogany he had. Too nice for a garage lol.
Painted the cabinets to match the ceiling.
Got the other half of the main bays lights up. Still need to wire them to the switch and hang/paint the raceway.
After that it'll be the walls. Long term I'd love to polish the concrete and do a satin finish on it and then get a lift, but that is going to have to be way down the line.
Slowly but surely!

Went with my parents to pick up their new c8 at the corvette museum a few weeks ago! It was a really cool experience - we got to tour the plant, tour the museum, and be engrossed in everything Corvette. First time seeing a ZR1 and a ZR1X.

I enjoyed the C8 as well! First time driving one and I love the DCT. We had a 600+ mile ride home so I was able to get pretty familiar with the car and was able to pass the 500 mile break in.. Also in a sea of red vettes the blue really stands out.

Few of my faves from the museum

Also picked up this bad larry. New Bambu H2S laser combo. This thing is huge! 1:18 Bandit for scale.

Should really expand my capabilities and help with my production times. Exciting!

So that makes 2 family members and 2 friends that bought vettes in the last year - not drinking the koolaid yet!

Been a minute - just been cruising and keeping them clean!

Revisited the tweeter pods I designed a while back. Happy with how version 2 came out! I adjusted the angle and position of the tweeters - which sounds a lot simpler than it was lol

Also laser etched a few coasters for my buddies for Christmas

Non car related recent 3D prints I did that I thought were cool were these crane statues for my fountain that I printed and finished.

As well as the over-sized Christmas lights, which are essentially a shell over a set of govee string lights. 60 in total for the house so it was not a small amount of printing

Tried a lil something new. Applied some suede (rayon) flocking to my pod to give it a more oem look. I think it turned out great! Feels nice and soft too. Wont even be able to tell it is a printed piece once it is installed

Been there, done that. Are you dropping the tank or cutting the access panel?

False alarm! Ended up being the fuse in the Hotwire kit that burnt. Replaced that with a fresh one and we’re back up and running now.

I relocated that part of the wire up by the fuse box. It was down in front of the rack previously. Unsure why it burnt though. Water maybe? Going to inspect the Hotwire this week

My car blew a fuse in the hotwire kit mid burnout when I was having alternator issues. Not sure if thats your issue. Once I got a good alternator on there it hasnt blown since.
