^^^ Winter doesn't scare me either. It's another thing to leave them outside 24/7. If you have no choice, I get it, but it's still an OUCH!!
Here's mine on a winter trip through the Great Smoky Mountain NP to see the Christmas lights in Pigeon Forge TN.
^^ Such a nice wonderful collection but seeing them outside in the elements just kills me!!
I have no choice. No garage--we have 10 cars total and the neighbors hate us. Had Harbor Freight 10x20 tent canopies over most of them but we had a freak windstorm that smashed them all down.

I figured that was the situation. Why would the neighbors care? If I was your neighbor I'd be over all the time talking about those sweet rides.
.....That lack of budget brings us to the 1994 Trans Am GT I just picked up in October for $4500. I sold my 1998 Ford Contour SVT to buy this one. Green, light grey cloth, auto, t-tops and only 164,000km. The tires on it were from 2001 and had been parked for over 10 years. It runs and drives very well, but has many common 4th gen issues and needs a complete re-paint and front bumper repaired.
I just picked up a set of 18/19” C6 replica wheels, 1” and 1.25” spacers front and rear. Will be doing lots of work over the coming months to have it safe, reliable and ready to cruise and road trip all summer! New current Trans Am, most recent photo with C6 wheels installed....
I really like the green on the early 4th gens. I had a 1993 Trans Am in that color that I made a 96/97 WS6 clone with an OEM hood and wheels. Loved that car!
I've owned numerous F-bodies, but when we're talking strictly Firebirds, my first was a '91 base model with a TBI 305 in black with a tan cloth interior, then I had a '93 Formula in Sunfire Yellow ( originally red ) with a grey cloth interior, then an '89 Trans Am GTA in bright red with grey cloth interior, and finally, my dream car, a '98 Firebird Formula M6 in Navy Blue Metallic with pewter leather interior, which I've owned for nearly 17 years. Here's a pic of it from when it was last on the road, in '09:

Do you realize how rare your car is? Only TWO NBM Formula WS6s were built in '98 (both w/ M6). If the last 4 digits of your VIN is 4231, I can provide your ASC# if you don't already have it. However, I don't have the ASC# for the other NBM Formula WS6, and I think the Formula I have the ASC# for is a HT and yours has T-tops, so I may be SOL. Regardless, you have a very rare car.
I should have mentioned, it's NOT a real WS6, lol. That's a Suncoast Creations hood, which is about an inch taller in the rear than a factory WS6 hood. If it had been one of the two ( I did know about those ), I'd have never modded it. One of them is in Canada, I believe. The car was bought with the hood and a WS6 emblem on the back, and the emblem is going to be removed when I get my new bumper painted, as I've never liked it being a clone.
Ah, OK, thanks for that clarification. My eyes saw the hood on your car in the pic, even w/ the Ram Air decal (which I don't usually see on aftermarket hoods) and jumped to the conclusion that it was a WS6. NBM cars were still relatively rare in '98 since NBM was intended to replace the BPM and was introduced mid-year. Clone or not, it still looks bad-***.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to driving it again since it's been off the road for nearly 14 years now. Tons of work to do, but it's going to be sweet when it's done.
^^^ Same here. This car never gets old. Every time I put serious $$ into it I find myself saying, "YES, that was worth it." I haven't said that about many cars in my past.
I feel the same... I've owned this car for 17 years and it was only on the road for the first 3 I owned it. Built it, had fun, blew it up repeatedly, and life happened so it got stuck on the back burner. But I've always loved it, and now I can afford to build it how I've always wanted. It's a never sell car.
My first was a 1994 Trans-am GT M6 that I bought in January of 2007 and sold in December of 2017. That car went from my decent daily driver to a parked POS after two deer hits and a blown head gasket. I sold it for $700
My second and current is a 2002 Trans-am WS6 M6, nearly mint with 56k on it. I bought it from a local Ford dealer with a "Not For Sale" sticker on it. My cousin bought it a few months prior from a local guy and traded it on a Shelby GT500.. unbeknownst to me or I would have gotten a much better deal. It was by far the most spontaneous thing I have ever done considering I was there to look at Mach-E for the wife... that we didn't buy.
It's been a long time since I've posted or even thought about this site. I've been focused on life and many other things but I'm finally in a place where I could enjoy having a "toy."
Heavily nostalgic. I guess I need to update my sig right?
Back in high school I loved the 1st gen Firebirds and figured that someday I'd own one, but when that day came, I opted for a GTO because of seating, roominess, ride quality, and other factors. It was 9 years later (1997) when I got my first Firebird, a 1994 A4/leather/3.23 Formula in the dark green color shown in earlier posts (The color doesn't show in the cell phone pic of an old photo attached). I sold it after a couple of years and went back to daily driving GTO's and LeMans.
I got the bug again and bought an identical car except in turquoise with a beautiful light grey leather interior. The early 4th gen Formulas with leather had the inflatable lumber and side bolsters and an adjustable thigh support. The inflatable feature was later reserved to T/A's and the thigh bolster disappeared - too bad as those seats were awesome. I sold that car after a couple of years to finance getting my 69 Judge on the road, and daily drove a 69 Grand Prix for two years.
I loved both of the LT1 Firebirds I owned except for the optispark issues I had with each of them. I said "never again" because of that after selling the second one.
In 2003, the Firebird bug bit again after I learned of the amazing performance potential of the LS1 and bought my silver A4/leather 2000 Formula which remains my daily driver to this day with 202k on it now. Several years later I was lusting for SOM and an M6, and bought 2001 T/A. I sold it after about a year out of frustration with the VFN WS6 hood I had installed on it.
In 2009 I bought the SOM M6 Formula from a used car dealer in Oregon sight unseen, and after getting the cosmetics dialed in and some minor mods, own it to this day.
