Hello all,
I am new to this sight but found it very full of useful info.my 1st post is a ? about blue tinted side view mirrors.i have seen them on a few f-bods out there but can't seem to find them on the internet for a 1999 t/a(firehawk).
just looking to get pointed in the right direction on getting the glass or whatever for my sideview mirrors. any help on this matter would be greatly
appreciated.

I believe 1998 was the only year they offered this. If you want to get a pair of tinted side views, you will have to order them for a 98, or you other option is E-bay! There was a guy selling the tinted sidewiew mirrors buy the hundreds about a month or two ago.

1998 and some very early 99 Trans Am's got the blue tint mirrors. I love the way they look on my car.

hey are you sure the 94 25th TA's didnt have them? they are on my g/f's car and she says they are factory stock, and i disagree. we fight over this on occasion. please send in the artillery for me!!

no pics for you, but they look PERFECT, like from a factory, and the car was owned by a guy previously who she says kept it completely stock and in a garage. from the old pics of the car I believe her, but since then she modded it a bit but not the mirrors to my knowledge.

i got them on my 99 T/A, it was built in august 98. kinda like them, not too blue, but not regular. dunno why they made them blue.

reduce brightness of headlights (from behind) so its easier to judge distance at night without the irritation....much like auto dimming rearview mirrors and so-so
