Fixed TA Headlights Coming (thread from Feb 2005)
These are pics of the very first set of lights. I am having a set water jet cnc cut next week sometime. The lights will both be shifted 1-1/8" to the right, and 5/8" upward. There will be anothe piece like the one the lights are mounted to, that will have two holes that the lights will come threw. Finally there will be a piece that covers the top. Of course you guys will have to see the finished product before you decide, but who is interested in a set of them for $400? Thanks for your input.

hmm....like you said, once i see final product i'll pass judgement. thats far too early in development to say much. but i will say this, the bulbs better be brighter than that if i'm gonna replace my headlights. mine are weak as it is, but those look even weaker than stock.

Good idea as there needs to be some competition in the marketplace for these as the other guy's are so expensive. However, they are DOT approved and I would figure you are not planning to go through that process. I am sure that is a major factor in keeping your price down. Good luck with it though and keep us posted. Oh, and don't raise them up any more than you have to as they will begin to look rather odd the higher up they are. It looks like you could raise them only about 1/4" and be fine.

The only non pop ups that looked good were on the 98 Firehawk
I wouldve bought a Firehawk if that wouldve made the cut.
If u can finish these like the hawks were I'd buyem asap

I always thought that looked good on the F-Car.

Ditto, figure out a way to have an HID option, and I'll definitely be down. Breathless has the kit, and has the option, but it's a rediculous amount of money. Aside from the fact that the quality is garbage.
Keep us posted on the final product, I'm anxious to see what it looks like.

Good luck to you with making your product. I am sure you can make something nice, but fixed lights will never look right IMO.
