To me the 98- Firebird lights just look cleaner

On the other hand 97- Camaros lights suck Butt!

After my accident I ordered some 98+ honey combs. I like the newer non-blocky style of the 98+'s

I really could care less, I think they both look fine. I don't see why people would prefer one over the other.
