Default trans am power antenna

I went to the local pontiac dealership and they wanted $220 for the motor and the antenna and told me that i could not buy them separate. Does this sound fair or am I getting ripped off. Thanks.

I think they come as a package deal. Have you tried ebay. I know are around $100 there.

I would check eBay like salready said, dealerships are usually always more expensive than anywhere else.

$220 seems way too high - GM list for PN 10402859 should be ~$149.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. Just curious does anyone know the part number? Also the antenna replacements on ebay sell for $30, has anyone bought one of these? If so are they good quality? Thanks again.

2001NBMZ28 told you the PartNubmer: 10402859

This info is also available in a search....so I searched for you and found this:
It seems that 10402859 is meant for Chevy and 10402860 is meant for Pontiac.

GMPartsDirect.com
10402859 -- $74.64
10402860 -- $71.76

NewGMParts.com
10402859 -- $111.96
10402860 -- $107.64

My friends Dad works at the GM Caddy Chevy dealership and he is a service tech there, tranny specialist, but still changes my oil, etc... for free. I send a Pizza his way everytime . I just had this problem with my atenna too, waiting for it to arrive at the dealership. He's also gonna rotate a hot brake rotor for now. Friends rule . Get some of them!
