After Knight Rider, I never saw a TV ad for the Firebird. At all.

I know they made them, and I have them saved on my drive, but they aired so infrequently, and apparently not in all markets, that I just never saw them.

Any real wonder sales dropped? ('course, that was the plan so they could close the St Therese plant - from all that I've seen)

The part that really sucks is, the only reason for the Camaro's popularity is that it's cheaper (literally, and in price) and a "chevy". That's it. It's econobox, ugly, and until '82, slower. And almost always had a higher Cd. So no we get to see a freakin' Camaro come back without it's proper twin. And worse, we get to see a legendary nameplate (GTO) shat on by GM by twinning it to a Camaro. A muscle car and a Pony car are different animals and of different sizes.
