Cam it.That gives you some insurance. Go big, 228+ duration. You'll tahnk me later. At first I went small (220/224) and I ended up changing it for the 236 I have now. They drive almost the same but this one pulls so much harder up top. -Joshua
Oh yeah, don't buy SLP headers.

The SLP claims are flywheel HP....not even close to RWHP. Hell my F13 cam with a full bolt-on car put down 368 RWHP untuned....if you want to hang with the Z06's or C6 cars you will need a cam...My pop has a 05 C6 and I could pull a little on him with the above setup I had. Now I can rape him with the mods in my sig and maybe even hang with the C6 Z06..

Just like these guys said, do some research on things before you buy...SLP puts the highest possible gain that you MAY see. BTW the SLP headers are the lowest sitting LT header on the LS1 market so be prepared to scrape them if you get them.

Alot of people on here have bought **** from SLP.... You may just be feeling a little of the hate for a company that can just flat out lie about some of their products.

Try not to take it too personal and always do your research BEFORE you mod. Try not to be a victim of marketing... talk to other people these cars have been around and modded for a long time now and you dont have to "try" things.... just use the collective knowledge everyone has came to realize over time in the real world.
