I'm with you man! 1998 was the first year for the TA everyone loves. They had the downsides but I've fixed all those.

I am with all you who love the 98 my next car will be a 98 and the only reason for the 98 is that I have a 78 also and I like to keep things similiar

I'd say 01-02 for the LS6 intake... but you really can't go wrong with any year. There really isn't one year that's better than the others. You can make up the hp difference between a '98 and a '02 for less than the price difference between the cars.

I had a '99, and two '98s and I haven't had any real trouble with any of them.

I'd say 02 because thats what I have. They also had the ZO6 upgraded clutch and the LS6 intake.

I voted 2002 Trans Am. It was the best, yet unfortunately the last year for the legendary Firebird.

Are you sure about that?? I don't think I've ever seen anything more than a 325HP rating for the F-Body LS1
