Who wants an $85,000 Fire Hawk?
With a rusty frame and filthy interior. Who would pay that much for this:

It's not a piece of **** so please don't knock it like that. That's actually an extremely rare find. It's the only one outside of SLP's hands.
The seller is in the special edition forums now talking about the ebay ad. It's extremely rare, but because GM didn't approve the re-design in time it doesn't have the WU6 RPO code, so even though SLP modified the car, it isn't a numbered Firehawk. It's still one of 6 (and one is totalled so it's one of 5 now)
He knows the price is high, but have some maturity when talking about stuff you're not sure on, Ok?

Yeah, if that car sold for 40k (because of the unique history) I'd be suprised. If the car had no miles on it I can easily see the right buyer snapping it up for 80k, but not with the current milage, not for another 20+ years @ 80k.

i clicked the link and as soon as i saw "1998" i immediately knew this thing was rare... as for a high price, thats up to the buyer, to some 80k isnt much, and what better addition to a garage collection than a 98 firehawk?
i have one question though, there were no pictures proving it was a 98, and didnt the 98's have the breathless style headlights? which is one of the MAIN reasons they couldnt follow through with the production due to crash test problems from those headlights?

It would be a wonderful addition to any collection but 85K just isn't worth it. I mean if somebody was dying to get their hands on it then it would probably sell but I don forsee that happening. How ever the guys gets kudos on a beautiful/rare car.

I mentioned earlier the interior was "filthy" which was maybe too harsh. I think the interior looks neglected, as I see marks on the kick panels and what looks like some stains on the carpet in the back seat. As rare as this car may be, I honestly can't see why he could'nt keep up with it better? <Edit: I read his thread and realized there was a previous owner.

You are bidding on 1 of 6 original 1998 Pontiac Firehawks produced by SLP. This car is signed by the c.e.o. of Street Legal Productions, David Hamburger.
