Broken ash tray lid How many of you guys have this happen to you, it's just so flimsy. I was trying to get change out and one of the tabs on the side just snapped off. Damn cheap plastic. Where do they sell new ones of these things?

I just got my 02 WS6 and the damn ash tray lid was broke already. One of the tabs broke off. I tried a few dealers and they will only sell you the entire console for like $100!! They can not sell you just the lid. So I did a Google search and came upon a site called pontiac-parts-for-less.com. Great online catalog and diagrams. All new OEM parts. (also have Chevy parts) I figured what the hell it was only $13 so if I got screwed I only lost $13. They emailed me a tracking number and it should be here tomorrow. Give them a try. Seems pretty good so far. They actually responded to my emails after the sale as well. Good luck.

Never seen that problem. I'm sure if I buy another f-body that one will have it though. Since I had never heard of the cracked door panel, and this one has it on both.

Ashtray I can get you a new one.I work in Chevrolet parts sales.Is it a manual or automatic.And just make sure all you need is the lid.If thats all it is it would cost $13.74.Let me know and i can ship it to you.

Yall are breaking them just by opening them!? How!?
Ive been wearing my jacket and shifted really fast and made it open, I could see breaking it like that, but, damn..yall must be hard on yalls interiors!

I just pulled the black part out to get some change out and the lid just popped off, It does make a good change holder I must say. I'm very easy on my interior, I had my 94 T/A for a long time and never had any problems with it.
