You can quote me....the Firebird Forum Moderator will buy a new Camaro. I've owned a Camaro in the past, and I'll own one again.
The only reason I went with the fourth-gen Firebird was because I liked the styling better than the Camaro. The fourth-gen Camaro is an awesome car, and that's what I actually went shopping for....but I came home with the 'bird
Stop whining and help us keep the f-body alive by buying a new Camaro when they come out. Think of it this way, it's better to have one than none.

Firebird are defiently nicer cars, but the camaros are not that bad. I would still rather have one of those new challengers.....those are just badass!
As for GM not bringing back the firebird, I think that sucks, but altleat they are not bringing it back as a 4 door sports car the like charger. Dont get me wrong the charger is a nice looking sedan, but defiently does not have a sports car look.

Hell, I have two fairly rare 4th gens and I'll give them both up for a 500 hp 2009 Camaro.

I'm buying the new Camaro. I need something NEW, Warrenty and the Hemi's will race me and I will beat every last one of them. 
I can't race Hemi's now they are all too slow.
I'm glad that it doesn't look like a Camaro, that is one reason I'm going to get it. I can't stand the look of Camaro's... actualy only like the 4th gen Bird out of all the F-bodies. Some other f-bods are good looking but, stock they are not. The Challenger is too bland and too much of a Carbon Copy. Maybe my dad would like it since it looks like an older car, I dig older cars but I didn't grow up drooling for one. This car just fits the bill for me.

sure i'de like a camaro... but it wont happen here b.c i cant afford any 30K plus new car... maybe when its like 8 yrs. old. I like my 4th gen. I consider it to be in pretty good shape w/ 21K miles... but i'm sure one day it will begin to wear down... they always make aftermarket parts tho. For now it's a piece of my life.

My next daily driver is probably going to be a leased C6 or a used one. I've got no reason to hold a "manufature's grudge."
