Default Power steering cooler

Do all '98 to '02 V8 Firebird/TA's have power steering coolers? Or is that something that's included in the WS6 package?

It was only on WS6s, standard cars didn't come with it. I don't remember if Firehawks got it or not.

No they didn't, I wish, but no. I have an 01 T/A and I don't have one on it.

The SS, WS6, Firehawk are standard. I don't think you could order it on a standard model and I do know that some of the last ones off the assy. line got them.

Peace,
Craig.

The RPO code for the power steering cooler, found on the door sticker is V12.

While we're on the subject. Has anyone every took one of these apart? I got an extra one off Ebay so I could polish it. I've taking the 4 screws that hold the middle together but can't get it apart. Is there a trick to this?

Sweet my 02 formula has the V12 code I thought my powersteering looked different than my buddys. Also does anyone know what the GM part number is for the power steering cooler? I thought I found it on Gm parts direct and it was reasonably priced.
