Where can I get black headlights for my 68 Firebird?
I just saw this item on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-81...em220184949186
And they don't have them for Firebirds.
Does anyone knows where can I get them for my 68 firebird???

1st gen Camaro's have two headlights and Firebird's have four headlights, thats why there a different size. Any car with the round 4 headlight system uses the same lamp

Those black headlights are horrible. Since the "reflector" is black instead of chrome, it will absorb light instead of reflecting it. Light output will be greatly diminished.

Well, when I worked at a parts store, they sold them but it was jsut fog lights. And they showed them on and it was not dim, nor did it seem like there was any light absorbed. Now I understand it's just and advert for it, but I colored the glass on my headlights before (Suburban, not my Firebird) and one would've thought "That'll be dimmer", it wasn't.

Since my one headlight gear is borked, and I can't seem to get it 180º to temp fix it, my lights are always up for now, and I think it'd look sweet with black lights ;D

I'm sure there is a difference, I won't deny that, but for them to be DOT (unless they state "For offroad use only), I don't think they'd be a huge difference. That, and you can always get bulbs to counter that.
