Motor. Next time, grab the window and pull while you're hitting the switch. If the motor's REALLY bad, even that won't help. And here's a tip from an owner who's replaced 6 motors now (3 on each side): after you replace the motor, don't roll the window all the way down. You have to sit there and mess with it or wait a long time to get it up again (something about the low-end torque of the rebuilt motors SUCKING ***). And have it replaced by a professional. One cost me $56. Did one myself... 4 hours of pain and frustration is not worth it.

It's probably rebuilt, and you'll have the same problems as stated above. Usually takes about 8-12 months for a motor to start degrading. It's sooner if you get a badly rebuilt motor.

If I was going to buy from ebay, I'd try to get a new motor instead of refurbished one. You should get twice the life from a no-**** NEW one.

While the door panel is off, you may want to shoot the wires for the motor with a multimeter. This saved me some trouble the last time I had to do a passenger motor; I found out the wire carrying the voltage was frayed and some of the power for the motor was being shorted to the frame ground. Replaced the motor and repaired the wire... been working for about 11 months now, except if I roll it all the way down (gets stuck at the bottom).

make sure you replace it with rivets not nuts and bolts that come with some motors.

Same with me. I was surprised how easy it was to change the motor.
