i was wondering if anyone has removed the thin side moldings (runs between fender vents to back wheel well) on their 98-02 trans am? I have to do a little body repair on my front fender and door I'm having the entire car repainted. I like to have different details with appearance and was wondering how it looks before i make a mistake, pics would be great thanx

I've thought about it, but decided that being my car is almost 15yrs old, there's going to be paint fade. So I won't want to deal with that. But more importantly, I'll leave it on for those idiots who decide to open their car door too far and hit mine.
