funny thing is it didn't even act like it was going out till just now. thought my switch was toast tested the switch worked fine.

Fixed. Glad I bought the LifeTime Warranty Motor.

Is the Passenger side motor same as Driver side?

My driver side motor moves flawless. But the passenger side one is sluggish.

I had to change the Driver's side window motor yesterday. Passenger side went a few months ago. I bought the car with 13000 miles, just passed 31K. Imagine my surprise when I pulled the door panel, and saw the holes already drilled in the door to get to the rivets. That means the original motor lasted no more than 13000 miles, and the replacement (with a GM part number on it) didn't last very long either. I have an extended warranty, but didn't want anybody touching my car for something I can fix, especially to replace it with another P.O.S factory motor. I went with the Dorman Lifetime warranty motor from Autozone.

It's a wiring issue on the passenger's side.

You can get AutoTrix Window fix kits at the Ws6 store that will fix your passenger window and keep you from replacing motors every 2 years.

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...4c2ab1bc40b6d2

You can also do a search for Auto Trix to find lots of info about the kits.

The kit works great too, just installed it after having it sitting around for two years. Wish I i would have done it sooner.

I just replaced both of mine in my 94 Z this past week. Driver's side was replaced by the dealer some time ago and they did it the right way. I on the other hand drilled the holes and had these damn things changed in 10 minutes

And yes the driver side and passenger side are the same motors

OK let me get this str8 if I get the kit I don't have to replace my window motors?
my passenger side is running slow
and I might have to replcae the driver side since it's not working..

But once I install the kit will the window run with decent power to actually run up smoothly .

If the passenger window motor is not too far gone installing the kit will "wake" it up and you will be fine for a long time to come.

Yeah you probably will have to replace the driverside since its not working.

Yes the kit will assure proper power to both windows at all times and should keep them going good.

Also while you have to door panel off it is a good idea to grease the tracks with lithium grease so the window slides smooth.
