Similar to my 02 CETA purchase, and yes I bought it to drive.
"higher" miles at 46K. But I do not have the panel cracks, yet... Just a couple chips on nose/headlights which I already have repaired. Touch up, touch up, touch up, touch up, color sand, buff.... Takes time but works.
To help clear up any confusion that people may now have...
99 as mentioned was the 30th TA.
02, was the 35th, how can that be, 35th Firebird.
Time for a drink... Oh and I always loved the blue wheels on that car, it worked!

The only 35th Anniv car made was the 35th Anniv SS Limited Edition.

The 02 was never marketed or sold as a 35th Anniv anything...Firebird, Trans Am...whatever. It was just badged a "Collector's Edition". 2002 was the without a doubt the 35th anniversary of the Firebird but the CETA was not an Anniv car. All Ponitac Anniv cars were blue and white and made in the anniv year of the TA not the Firebird.
