I haven't been there in a few years but Yes they do allow day of show registrations.
The Show is Sunday but if you can make it there Sat. you can register early and then make it up to Tipp City for the Cruise. To me the Tipp City Cruise was always the highlight of the weekend. 300+ Firebirds in a small town setting, it doesn't get any better then that.

I'm gonna drive up friday morning and hopefully be there by mid afternoon. i got a hotel room @ the super 8 for $49 each night friday and saturday
and it does look like you can register when you get there, you just don't get a T-shirt.

Nah, you can just do as Bird Man does and just tell them "Class M-3 Heavy Custom 1998 - 2002" They will ask you what you have done and keep adding them up until they place you in the appropriate class.
Breakdown is as follows:
Modified: Allows 1 - 5 changes
Heavy Modified: Allows 6 - 10 changes
Custom: Allows 11 - 15 changes
Any mild custom paint (including a non-factory available color)
Any radical upholstery changes
Any audio system that includes a major interior modification
Any mild but non-stock appearing emblems or birds
Heavy Custom: Allows 16 or more changes, or any of the following:
Any radical custom emblems, birds, or paint
Any body modifications (blending in of seams, etc.)
Any engine not available on that model year
Any roll cages
Super Street: with any of the following equipment:
Any aftermarket blower, fuel injection, turbo, tunnel ram, etc.
Any nitrous oxide systems
Must be tubbed

ah..i would assume i'm in modified 93-97
i have
wheels
painted intake
ram airbox and hood (stock GM but not for a 95)
ZR1 wheels
Gold T/A logo between taillights (instead of red) might not be counted as a mod
is there a car wash somewhere near the hotel.. after driving 250+ miles and possibly hitting rain friday morning in nw indiana, i'll probably need a car wash
