If you want a T/A, buy one. Don't subject an innocent Formula to such humiliation.
YEAH, so much cleaner, they look just like a 6cyl. Everyone loves that.

Don't get me wrong, I like a ws6 fomula but, you need to throw in a "JMO" in there somewhere.

IIf i were to come up on a Formula i would leave the look as is, well except for the hood. I love how the Formulas look with the WS6 hood, looks pretty damn awesome. Then again that just me, its your car man make it look however you want. Long as you don't toss on lambo doors, spinners, etc. i think the car will look good.

I had a '01 NBM Firebird before I traded it in on the '02 NBM WS6. I thought the body lines looked clean on the Firebird. If it had the LS1 in it I wouldn't have traded.

Keep it as a Formula.

I think they both look great!!!! I have a Formula and I love it's clean look, but I also love the more agressive look of the Trans AM. The Formula is definately much more rare but that doesn't make it better or worse. I hope to get the WS6 hood someday because it looks awesome.

Yeah you can't miss the Firehawk decal on the door on that one.
But it's surprising to me that most people miss the Formula badges on the doors of a Formula. I was cruising the other night next to a real nice Red Firebird with speedline WS6 wheels. When we stopped side by side they asked me if my car had a 6 cylinder in it, which I promptly replied as NO !
I mean I have Sliver overlays on my door emblems too and they still couldn't figure it out.

I think the production figure on 2002 Formulas was only 949 cars, so an '02 is pretty rare. I wasn't thinking of that when I bought mine a couple of years ago, but I'm proud of it now. I'm happy to mod my car, but I still want it to be a Formula when I'm done.

That said, I wish I had a T/A deck lid. The Formula / base deck lid collects water when you wash the car or when it sits in the rain. When you open it, all of that water runs forward, and drips into the rear interior. Not a problem, just a nuisance. A T/A lid would drain.

I'd just buy the Formula and enjoy it. I've got a 2000 convertible TA and I've been tempted to put a Firebird nose and tail on it.
