Default 98-02 differences???

Hey guys. I'm looking at getting rid of my Z and buying a WS6. I was wondering if there are any differences in the 98-02 models other than the color? I'd like to get a 02, but if I can get one a little older with low miles for a better price. Just didn't want to miss anything.

Seems like there should be a sticky with this info somewhere. There are a lot of *minor* changes between the years...

I've only had it to a eighth mile track and had never been to a track before. The best I could get was 8.3, but I spun bad!!! 1st is absolutely useless after 3.5k and 2nd is only good to about 5.5k and that is with me pedaling.

Beautiful car btw, wish I could find on that color here.

Thanks for the help guys! Found what I was looking for. Just a couple of questions that weren't answered the that thread. Is there any benefit to having the ls6 block and is there a way to tell which block it is? Thanks everyone.

Really no benefit, other than better oiling passages. There are NO power differences. Check the block casting # 12561168. Drivers side, back of the block just above the trans.

98 was the final year of Auburn Clutch-style Posi. 99-02 got Torsen posi (worm gears). I upgraded to that when I broke my rear end.
