Default Magna Flow Exhaust INSTALLED, My thoughts

After driving 100 miles home with the new Magna Flow Street System I am VERY impressed with the sound on the exterior and lack of sound on the interior. Yes, there is some sound inside, but it is tolerable, in fact its a nice change. Yes there is an audible change when the DOD is active, again very tolerable.

In my opinion Magna Flow NAILED the G8 Street system, it is perfect in every way. Quality, sound, ease of install (took 45 min on a lift). Fit and finish is phenomenal, I love the look of the rear end now!

If you are looking for an exhaust system that is everything I listed above, the street system is for you!

This looks funny, but it actually is supposed to be that way

I didn't think you could do that.

Are there any potential problems to doing it? i.e. extra cylinder or lifter stress?

No problems at all. We have been doing it since 2006 with the L76 in the GM Trucks.

I am glad to hear that you like the system and that there is hardly any interior noise inside of the car. We work really hard to our systems perform, and sound good. Thanks You the business we appreciate it.

The Magnaflow catback is a MUST HAVE for G8 GT owners. I love mine. Not only does it sound great, but I get a large number of compliments on the look of them two. Win-win.

BlownChevy, I like the look of the white with V6 tails.

I agree, it is a MUST HAVE! The sound is nice and mellow!

Thanks, I thought the tails cleaned it up a bit.

That was a no-brainer for sure.

What are you planning as far as wheels & tires, anything?

Nice system. Not to be picky but your left tip is hanging lower than your right.

That would be my choice as well...you can fit a 10.5" to 11" wheel in the rear with the correct backspace (~60mm BS), but obviously it would have to be custom. It would be nice to have some 315's or 325's back there.

Must be the angle of the picture. When looking at the car from behind they are dead even. I will double check tomorrow.

just curious is it much louder than the stock setup during typical driving? I am sure it is when you get on it
