I've been shopping the 2009 GTs lately. I was offered 33916 on a 2009 with most options. That's $100 over the invoice price. On top of that I would get the $3000 cash incentive and a $500 discount for using a certain local insurance company. Total would come to $30,416 + TTL. Is that on par with what others are seeing? Should I try to work them down more?

I got caught looking at one the other day and he said he could get it down to 23. The original sticker was 31k, the had written 25,500 in with a marker and while I was talking to him he said 23k. Not sure on the options.

Would a fair deal be something in the $27,000 range? Keep in mind I have not haggled with them at all yet. This was just their initial offering.

I paid 28795 + TTL on a 35190 msrp. I'm no negotiator either. They treated me good and gave me good money on my trade so I didn't care to haggle. I had another dealer waste my time by not coming down on price. Of course once they knew I'd gone somewhere else, they magically took off 5k. IMO, I paid too much but no big deal. I got what I wanted. BTW, invoice on the loaded 09.5 cars is 32746 so there's plenty of room for them to come down. I'd offer them 27500 and see what they say. If they want to sell cars, they'll deal.

I was actually at the dealership because there was a rental car place inside. The only other non employee was also there for a rental car. There wasn't a single customer there shopping. Try and find a dealership with nobody shopping---and then find the salesman that looks like he hasn't slept and is chain smoking.

I just paid 27k for mine yesterday. It has all options but the sunroof which I wanted but they didnt have one in stock in Stryker Blue with the sunroof so I got the one without. They told me if they had to order one specifically or transfer it from another dealership I wouldnt be able to get the same price.

Went back today. Sticker is 35,190 (2009.5, premium, sport, sunroof). They offered me 28,900, but I couldn't get them to drop from that. Still haven't decided what to do.

It depends where you are located. I bought mine for 28K +TTL. It seems the east coast definitlely has better deals than the west coast. I think anything around 27 or 28 you will doing well.
