Sick numbers!

I'm assuming that the blower makes more torque, but which makes more power, the stage 1 kit or the basic blower kit?

If you HAD to choose only ONE of the 2 for your daily driver, what would you choose and why?
I went the TVS route on my G8. Having the torque down low really gets these heavy cars moving

Also, the car sounds, drives, and acts completely stock until I put my foot off in it

The cammed, bolt-on car made more peak power, but barely. As Bad Habit Bird said, the down low torque really gets these cars moving with the blower.

I can imagine. I and a HUGE fan of centris, especially the ECS Novi system for the Corvettes.

But, the G8 is HEAVY and it NEEDS low end torque to get those lbs moving. Twin Screw (Kenne Bell/Whipple) are proven performers, but I like the TVS because of the OEM reliability and low cost.

The N/A combo that is being offered in this thread is a great option if, for some reason, FI is NOT an option.
But, the N/A options can NOT offer the torque of a positive displacement blower. ESPECIALLY in the low/mid RPMs where the G8 really needs it because of it's heft.
Not to mention. low/mid RPMs is where a street car lives.

Questions for Rick @ Livernois... for starters, very impressive!

1) How does the stock tranny & converter behave at this power level?
2) Have you experimented with any aftermarket or ported stock heads?

It's looking like the G8 GT will be my next daily driver... has anyone driven them in the snow?

Thank you for the kind words!

We put a lot of time into the trans cal and out of all the cars we've done, we haven't had any trans issues.

This car will be back within the next few week for head porting, so I'll be able to answer that soon.

We have several customers that use them as daily drivers and obviously, it's rear wheel drive, so it's not great, but no different I would imagine than a Mustang in the snow.

Excellent work, and the package seems very reasonable for parts and install.

i know this is a question most people that mod cars don't care about but this guy that owns this 12.3 G8 has he checked his gas milage lately if so hows it doing ??? it is something i gotta keep in the picture since my G8 was actually bought for my wife and is her DD

i got a formula that runs 11.1s @ 125 ans it gets 18ish in town and 27 on the highway

i was just wondering how the mods react to the MPG if assuming your still driving it respectively lol i know its hard to do that with all them ponies right there lol

He beats on his car quite hard and he said deleting the DOD and modding the car did not hurt the mileage. I noticed the same thing with my Vette. I did heads/cam, headers, CAI, 4.10's, etc and I still got 30+ mpg on the expressway.

Our GXP has CAI, Catback, and a tune and it gets better than stock as well and makes 410 RWHP / 410 RWTQ.
