Default New G8 GT tonight

Brought her home tonight. Fun starts when she's broken in a bit.

Meanwhile, any recommend the best way to remove the front license plate bracket? How ugly are the holes left underneath going to be?

Congrats. I know you are excited, but all GT's are A6.

Are the fasteners rivets? Should I drill them out? Even empty holes in the bumper are better than a blank license plate bracket.

Default license plate

Lucky you not being required to have a front license plate. TX requires a front license plate. So far I've snuck by with my TA not having one, but I'm sure the first time I get stopped that'll be part of the citation

its required in Mass, and im sure when he goes to the dealer they'll give him a hard time about removing it and fixing the holes

Or I could transfer the green letter plate off my other car. Green plates in MA still only require one plate.

Dealers will transfer them from car to car, but if you try to transfer them at the registry, they will make you replace them.

I drilled mine out and been meaning to get up to the shop to fill the holes, but it's been 4 months. Really on MGM the holes aren't really noticeable until your on top of it. I think I'm just going to hold out and swap to a GXP bumper and be done with it.
