Got me a G8 GT!
I bought my brothers G8 GT yesterday. It's an 08 all stock except Tuned, with HP Tuners. He ran a 8.70 in the 1/8 right after he tuned it, but it was hot weather. I'm hoping to run a 8.55 8.60! I'll be happy!

Got to the track at 8:00 and they were pulling my lane as I pulled in so my first pass was 13.75 @102.47 with a 2.12 60' (left at 1100 rpm with the car in sport and let it shift itself.....it was shifting into 4th at the end of the run). I weighed the car after the first pass and it was 4140 with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas. My next pass was 1.5 hours later since cars kept breaking and they were running a points class that night. This time I left off idle and ran 13.56 @102.91 with a 2.049 60' (again I left it in sport and let it shift itself going into 4th at the end of the run). Overall I'm pleased and I know with some practice I'll cut the time down alittle further (if I had shifted manually and held 3rd it would have helped). Next on the list is a tune and pulley with the goal of cracking the 12's.

A few people up here have hit 12's with tune and CAI only....fact is the track I go to (Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ) is 178' above sea level and it's not uncommon to get -1000 DA days. Hell I've seen some -2000 DA days.....come up here in October or November and see what your car does.

Congrats OP, the white does look good!
It is a totally different experience - but after 2-1/2 years with mine so far I'm glad that to have lost that f body interior panel squeak. F body is definitely much more raw - drove a friends 02 WS6 recently that's pretty much stock, but with the m6 I had a big grin on my face and it definitely brought back some memories lol.
