Yes, and I'm not to happy about it either!!! LOL
I've been told that the independent suspension, 20" wheels, 3.27 Camaro differential & A6 hurt my dyno numbers.
But, I still love the car and a Procharger will fix this issue in the next few months.

May be a stupid question and I'm not asking to start anything....
Seems like the G8 with similar mods to a 4th gen shows lower dyno numbers. Is it the drive train eating up hp? Maybe I'm just mistaken but seems like usually a heads/cam/intake full bolt-ons deal on a 4th gen is in the 440-450 rwhp range??

usually 4th is a 1:1 ratio, but the G8 is a 1:1.15 ratio I beleive, hence lower numbers as well as additional drivetrain loss through the IRS

Every 6L80E I've seen dyno on a G8, Corvette, or gen5 Camaro eats ~60hp. You can set your watch to it.
You can rapidly find yourself all over the place with variables when it comes to these conversations. I make 426rwhp/415rwtq on a 218/230 cam with no head work and stock pulleys / intake manifold / gearing etc. Make of that what you will.
I also know my stock baseline was 294/313 and, oddly enough, that's 61hp down from the 355bhp number from the factory. I've got the 6L80E A6 so... imagine that.

355 bhp from factory is rated at the flywheel. So if the 6L80 / driveline is eating 60hp then your right where you should be. I would not get to caught up on dyno numbers as to many variables come into play.

A cam the size of the OPs with ported stock cathedral port heads through an auto in an f-body would make similar numbers if not a little lower.

There's nothing to worry about with a dyno as long as you have your baseline. All you should care about is the delta.

OP Here Again,
I decided to get a little more power out of the setup before I add boost.
Placed an order for 1 7/8" American Racing Headers with X-Pipe today.
I'm going back to the dyno after this mod is complete and will post new numbers accordingly.

You're going to like that, ARH is good kit. I believe the cats are better than what's on the SLP setup if nothing else, let alone that it will be a proper LTH. Should make for an excellent foundation for future mods.

The wheels are heavy as hell on the G8's.. Ours has 18's with all season tires and they are a bear..
Our G8 bone stock is rated @ 361hp and ran a 13.6@103 and weighs 4000 lbs without driver..
My 02 T/A with a Lid and Catback though a M6 made 325rwhp and went 13.3@108mph and weighed a little over 3500lbs without driver..
The G8's make great power its just like everyone is saying the drivetrain, and weight that kills putting the power to the ground. I use to bitch about how heavy my Firebird was but now it feels so small after racing the G8..
Another thing you have to look at is that our G8 is tuned for 87 octane were my WS6 needed 93 octane..
On a side note if you do a aftermarket cam in the G8 could you tune it for 87 octane or once you do a new cam does it need to be 93??
